Program Guidelines

As a Vicariate of Black Catholic Concerns Youth Leader, you are a part of a select group of youth with ambitions to succeed.

Your role as a VBCC Youth Leader:

  • Mandatory attendance at Ambassador Enrichment Days
  • Mandatory participation in vicariate events, a youth retreat and a community service event.   
  • Participating as an usher, lector or hospitality leader at Vicariate events
  • Learn as much as you can

This program will focus on the following:

  • Public speaking and networking skills which will help you through high school and beyond
  • Entrepreneurship skills
  • Have an opportunity to meet and greet other members of the Vicariate of Black Catholic Concerns family to help build friendships that will last a life time
  • College and workforce readiness

  • A freshman or higher in High School     

Dress code:

Formal Events:

  • Male- Black suit and tie
  • Female- Black Dress, evening wear or pants

Semiformal Events:

  • Male -White polo and black slacks
  • Female- Black or white Top with black slacks

Casual Events:

  • Male- Casual (nothing too baggy)
  • Female- Casual (nothing too tight or revealing)
